Our coalition calculates our regional risk pertaining to certain hazards (hazard vulnerability assessment). We review other assessments performed by various agencies as well as collaborate on ways to prevent disasters, or reduce the impact disasters will have on our communities.
Our members inventory regional resources to determine potential gaps. We work to network with agencies to determine how responses will look like when the time comes. We train our members and regional agencies on numerous topics related to preparedness and educate the public.
When a disaster strikes, our coalition is ready to respond. We coordinate information flow, medical resources, and assist agencies in getting what they need. Many of our members are first responders themselves and we can assure you, we do everything in our power to help our communities.
We are dedicated to assist short- and long-term recovery efforts in our communities. We offer training related to donations management, recovery resources, public information dissemination, and much more. We live in the communities we serve, and want to see them recover.
